    Qualifications:

    • Must be a licensed Contractor or Journeyman with a minimum of  3 years work experience.
    • Have a genuine interest in helping train apprentices to become a licensed contractor/journeyman
    • Provide quality instruction to apprentices throughw ell prepared classes, relevant assignments, hands on training in the lab, fair assessment of learning, clear documentation of an apprentice’s progress, and support of the academic success of the apprentice.
    • Supports the aims, objectives, goals and mission of FWAPHCC                          
    • Position is part time seasonal (September – April)

    Now Hiring a Lab Technician!

    FWAPHCC is seeking a detail-oriented candidate with trades experience to fill the role of part-time Lab Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC, hands-on experience in the trades, and a commitment to supporting an effective learning environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Clean and maintain labs and storage areas.
    • Maintain and track inventory of tools, materials, and supplies.
    • Set up classroom labs as directed by instructors on a weekly or biweekly basis during the school year.
    • Ensure all lab equipment is safe, functional, and properly stored.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the plumbing trades.
    • HVAC experience is preferred but not required.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to follow directions and work independently.
